How do I pay someone?
First login in to Cendit. Click on Cend.it on the Homescreen. Select a contact to send money to or click on My Contacts Title for other options. Click on the 'Flying Money' icon and type in the amount you wish to send. We then fetch the spot rate and click Cend.it, you will then be given the option to add a message and a Verification Code, which we recommend you add. Then click send.
Do I need to add money to Cendit to pay someone?
Yes, to send money with Cendit you need to allocate funds to your account to send.
How do I add money?
You need to login in to your online banking and use the Cendit bank details supplied in the Cendit application. You then need to add your mobile number using your country code at the start and dropping the first 0.
What happens if I forget to add my mobile country code when transferring money from my bank account on to my Cendit account?
Our customer service team will phone you with the mistake, take you through some security questions and then allocate this to your account.
Why do I need to use a country code in my mobile number for the reference when transferring money from my bank account?
As Cendit is available in 71 countries and all 71 countries will be able to send money by April 2017, each country has its own country codes and it helps us better allocate your money to your account faster.
Can I use a debit card?
No, at present you can only add funds via a bank transfer. This is changing very soon with integration in to our partners commencing very soon.
What is the maximum amount I can send?
At present we are limiting people to send up to £100,000.
When do payments come out of my Cendit balance?
Payments are instantaneous, but can take up to 24 hours in some cases to show on your account depending on the route you wish to send your money.
How long does it take to withdraw funds from my account?
It can take between 3-5 days.
How do I transfer money to my bank account?
It is easy to withdraw money from Cendit. Please login, click the 3 lines at the top left of your screen and click withdraw. You can not partially withdraw funds from your account, you must withdraw all funds.
What type of payments can I send?
Cendit allows you to send SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments and BACs.
I paid the wrong person, what now?
This is what our Verification Code was built for. If you've added the code do not give the recipient the code. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will contact you. We recommend you contact the person you've sent the money to to notify them they've receive the money in error.
If you have sent the money without the Verification Code in error, money is sent instantaneously and the recipient would have receive the money. You must immediately contact the person to send the money back and contact us on email@example.com and we will also contact the person to refund the money, however we do not guarantee we will be able to assist you in retrieving the funds.
